Payment Terms
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Payment Terms outline the billing procedures, accepted payment methods, and tax policies for all Piriyathu LLP software products, subscriptions, and custom development services.
1. Currency and Pricing
All prices listed on our websites and in our proposals are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time. However, any price changes to active SaaS subscriptions will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We process payments securely through authorized payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe). We accept:
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
- Net Banking (from major Indian banks)
- NEFT/RTGS/IMPS direct bank transfers (for enterprise or custom projects)
We do not accept cash payments or cheques.
3. Taxes and GST
Piriyathu LLP is a GST-registered entity (GSTIN: 32ABIFP7822J1Z1).
- B2B Customers: If you provide a valid GSTIN during checkout or account setup, we will issue a B2B tax invoice allowing you to claim Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Applicable Rates: Software services are generally subject to an 18% GST (9% CGST + 9% SGST for Kerala clients, or 18% IGST for clients outside Kerala).
- Displayed Pricing: Unless explicitly stated as "inclusive of taxes," all listed prices exclude applicable GST, which will be added at checkout.
4. SaaS Subscription Billing
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
- Failed Payments: If a recurring payment fails, we will attempt to retry the transaction. We will notify you of the failure via email. If payment is not secured within 7 days of the due date, your account access may be suspended until the outstanding balance is cleared.
5. Custom Software Project Invoicing
For custom development, consulting, or maintenance contracts, payment terms are typically defined in the specific agreement. Standard terms include:
- Advance Payment: An initial deposit (usually 30% to 50%) is required before work commences.
- Milestone Payments: Subsequent payments are tied to agreed-upon project milestones.
- Final Payment: The final balance is due prior to the deployment of the software to a production environment.
- Due Dates: Invoices for custom work are due upon receipt unless "Net 15" or "Net 30" terms are explicitly granted in the contract.
6. Late Payments
For custom projects or postpaid enterprise accounts, invoices remaining unpaid beyond the stated due date may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum permitted by law, whichever is less) on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend services or withhold deliverables until all overdue accounts are settled.
7. Invoices and Records
Digital invoices are automatically generated and emailed to the registered billing address upon successful payment. You can also download past invoices from the billing section of your product dashboard.
